I am sorry
I am sorry that this post is just another one of those — I am still alive and yes I am still working on Vanity High. I know it has been a year and I still haven’t finished Episode 16. I will finish Episode 16. It’s just that I am really busy dealing with real life issues. If you have been following my blogs, many of you know that I did get pregnant summer last year. I was pretty much very sick throughout my pregnancy. I gave birth on Valentines day early this year to a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Zoe, and it is the Greek word for “Life”. Besides being a busy mom, I have been planning my own wedding. I am pretty much doing most of the planning myself and it has caused me a tremendous amount of stress which I’d rather not get to. I know I don’t show it, but I do try my best to not let things get to me. I know my wedding will never be perfect so I learned to accept that.
So yeah, with all that amount of work, I still do try my best to work on Vanity High. I did manage to release the first part of Episode 16, didn’t I? lol, I know it isn’t much, and I owe the fans a lot.
With that said, I am getting married in 2 weeks — in November 15, 2008. After the wedding, I will be busy packing and moving in together with Josh, whom you know as the guy who plays Trent in Vanity High.

I currently disabled the forums, because of the problem I’ve been having with spam. I actually enabled the forum a few days ago only to get more spams again, so I disabled it so I could find a good mod/hack to fight against spam bots and human spammers.

When my daughter was sleeping, I decided to create my own slide of my Sims 2 screenshots. As you can see most of these shots are from Vanity High. Anyways, I also have a new layout and a new theme for my blog. It’s the same style. Yeah, I get really tired of my site’s look. I really should concentrate on adding more content to this website instead of constantly changing the layout, but I am just never satisfied with anything. lol. That isn’t really a good thing, is it?
Well, Josh and I are already starting to have new ideas for a new Sims 2 series, but we still got a long way to go. We want to finish Vanity High first before starting a new project. Working on one project is hard enough due to lack of time, so we want to focus only on one. So that new series won’t be up for a while — we gotta finish Vanity High first! But that doesn’t mean I won’t be working on any side projects. I am actually working on a couple of music videos. One of them is related to Vanity High — it’s going to be a Yuki video! With Yuki singing a song. Dennis (aka DPrime, the voice actor for Yuki) sang the song himself. I don’t know the release date for that video yet, but when it is done, it will be up on this site and on YouTube. The other music video is a different one. But let’s just say I’m making a Anime-style video to the song When You Look Me in the Eyes by Jonas Brothers. I don’t know, but I just really love that song. Look out for that on my site and on YouTube.
As far as Vanity High Episode 16 goes, well it is going slowly… I am still trying to improve my sets. I want to make it look nice but my computer has been lagging lately, so I might need to reformat everything. So that means I have to reinstall everything — the base game, my stuff packs, and all my expansion packs. As you know, I have all the Sims 2 EP’s installed since I like to use them all to make my movies. My computer is a year old — will be turning 2 in August (Happy Birthday my baby #2) and it hasn’t been reformatted since Josh built it. I will need Josh to reformat my computer as soon as I’m finished with all my projects.
I am also planning to remake Vanity High Episodes 1 & 2, mainly because I simply can’t stop myself from cringing every time I watch it. Those 2 episodes have been made in just 2 days and I had no idea what I was doing back then. I was just having fun with my Sims at the time and I didn’t think it would get people interested in it. So because of that, I decided to set those 2 episodes on “private” on YouTube. But you guys can still watch it on this site — just go to Vanity High and to Episodes section to find it.
So I apologize to those who sent me messages telling me that they can’t watch the first 2 episodes of Vanity High on YouTube. This is why I have this page so you guys can watch everything. And yes — I am very much aware of the fact that Episode 13 and Episode 14 (Part1) have been deleted by YouTube. I don’t understand it either, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I tried reuploading them but YouTube wouldn’t allow it. But at least you guys know now that all the episodes are available here.

I know that people have been getting impatient for the new episode of Vanity High to come out. The script is done. Most of the lines have been sent in, but the song is not done yet. I’ve already finished filming half of it. I’ve been getting tons of messages on YouTube telling me to hurry up and upload Episode 16. However, sending me these type of messages is not gonna make me release the episode any faster. Like I said so many times, I do not set release dates. The episode comes out when it comes out! There are many other people that are working on this project with me that have other priorities in life.
With that said, I am currently a new mother, as most of you who follow this blog know by now. And I’m telling you, it isn’t easy. I can’t just do whatever I wish to do. It’s not the same anymore. I can’t just pack up my stuff and go out for lunch with friends. But anyways, I do appreciate those other Vanity High fans who understand and have been very supportive.
Don’t worry. The series will be completed. Even if it takes me a long time to do so. I am one of those who hate leaving things unfinished. I don’t want to disappoint the viewers and the cast. I really do appreciate everyone who has helped me out with this project so far. The fans, the cast, and my honey — Josh.

I know that I am always behind in terms of blogging about the changes that have been made on this website. I really should make it a habit to blog about all the updates made as soon as I am done making them. But it really takes me a few days to finish updating… but a lot of times, I’m just lazy to blog about it and end up putting it off. Don’t get me wrong — I love to blog. But I just hate getting interrupted while I am blogging. When you are a full-time mother, expect a lot of interruptions. It’s hard because I’m not used to stopping from writing when interrupted. As a writer, it ruins my flow… when I’m writing, I want to keep writing until I’m exhausted…
Anyways, let’s get to the point, shall we? I finally made a new music video for Bianca’s original song entitled “Sincerely Marie”. It’s a song about Ben and has reference to the Spring Formal. Bianca sang the song herself as Marie. As a thank you for writing a song, I made this video for her. I hope the rest of the VH fans enjoy this as well. Some of you guys want to download this song. Right now, it isn’t available for download on my site, but you can download the actual music video for it just for now.

{VANITY HIGH SITE UPDATES} I also did a quick update on the VH site. I’ve made some changes on everyone’s character profiles. I have added some new voice samples for everyone’s profiles so people can hear how the characters sound like. Check it out here!
